FIRE IS A LIVING BEING
Save The Flame supporters believe fire is a living being and feels pain just like any breathing animal. The inhumane act of smothering a flame with water, sand or other materials causes a cruel and painful sensation. This inhumane murder must STOP.
Fires should not be extinguished...but contained.
While this may seem absolutely rediculous to the common nay sayer, a flame has several life like characteristics:
- Intelligence - Each flame has individual thoughts. Fire will CHOOSE
to burn a certain direction and will take a different path on a whim.
- Growth - Fire will grow larger unless put out or controlled.
- Reproduction - Fire will grow in size and strength like a human reproduces.
- Movement - Fire will rage across a dry forest or other kindling with incredible speed.
- Respiration - Fire must take in oxygen and releases carbon monoxide to live.
- Sensitivity - Fire has nerve endings that make it sensitive to water, wind and other stimuli.
- Excretion - Fire creates waste in the form of gas and smoke like an animal fart or turd.
- Nutrition - Fire eats up all sorts of kindling, and grows as a result.
FACT: A fire will feel pain when extinguished. Fires should NOT be extinguished...but contained. Please join us in
